          Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology has developed a water-based coating with electromagnetic shielding properties using a single-walled carbon nanotube (SGCNT) made by the Water-assisted-CCVD-method (generic name: Super-growth method) And the coating reaches the practical level, can play more than 99.9% electromagnetic shielding performance, and has excellent coating, can be coated in a variety of complex shapes of the substrate. At the same time, it can be applied to coating methods such as Barcode Spray or Dip Coating. The future is expected to be applied to the category of Wire Harness.
 
   The newly developed electromagnetic shielding paint is the use of dispersant SGCNT dispersed in water, and dried at 80 ℃ for 15 minutes. Since 99% of the paint is water, exerting strength will produce liquidity, no force will not flow, so it is not easy to have the problem of liquid dripping. Regardless of the coating method, the coating film having a thickness of 12 μm has an electromagnetic wave shielding performance of not less than 30 decibel (dB-dB), and can shield 99.9% of electromagnetic waves. The average practical level is 20 dB (99.0% obscured)
